Welcome to the Holy Trinity Apostolate

Holy Trinity Apostolate UpdateWe had a wonderful Symposium with the theme “Christ Our Hope”…With 600 attendees this year and 65 for the ‘Youth Symposium’ with Fr. Libor as the Master of Ceremonies. Fr. Libor was great with the young people and presented the program well. All the speakers gave a talk to the youth. We received so many emails from attendees that really enjoyed Fr. Leo Patalinghug. |

Fr. Leo puts his culinary gifts to work for the Catholic faith. PBS is hoping to put him on the air. The Food Network is taping a test show with him in June. His culinary art adds zest to his priestly Ministry. This is what he wrote on his Blog the following day. Gracebeforemeals.com
Msgr. Nalty was a former Vatican Official for five years with the Congregation for the Priests. His talk on “Eucharistic Adoration for the Sanctification of Priests and Spiritual Maternity” was enlightening. Msgr. Nalty met privately with priests to talk about his work in the Vatican. R.M. Dolores Hart spoke on Christ Our Hope and was a very uplifting presentation. Mother spoke about The Gary-The Olivia Theatre at the Abbey as a Body of Hope. Mother Noella Marcellino gave us some lessons on Gregorian chant. Mother Noella had everyone singing and learning about Chant music. Fr. John Trigilio from the “Web of Faith” – EWTN program spoke about Mary, Our Hope! Fr. John had to leave us early because his bishop was visiting his parish on Sunday morning. Brother Elijah Cirigliano took us through a variety of songs relative to our Lenten season. He writes and composes all the music for his songs. He’ll be leaving for Rome soon to finish his studies. A special thanks to Fr. Ben and Fr. Libor for lending their priestly talents throughout the day. We had six priests hearing confessions until the program closed. We had over thirty vendors in the Fr. Mikus hall. Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, Miles Christi priests, and the Sisters of the Holy Cross were present in the vendor area promoting vocations. The Archdiocese of Detroit was represented regarding men’s ministries. Michigan Catholic Radio was well represented. Also…thanks to the kitchen staff that cooked for the priests and nuns. The tables with linens and fresh flowers looked beautiful! It was nice to have Vic Faust from Channel 7 back with us again. Channel (7) was present at the Symposium and did a report for 6 PM news and Sunday morning at 5 AM and 6 AM. EWTN radio played the Lenten Symposium starting at 4 PM for over three hours on Saturday. We received an email from a couple in Oregon about the Symposium. Words lack in content when it comes to thanking our volunteers. Without these men and women this event would not be possible. Thank you for the hard work and dedication. We had fourteen young men for breakfast with Bishop Moses Anderson. The bishop talked to them about his journey from the Baptist religion to Catholicism. Fr. Lee Acervo closed the program with Benediction. Hope everyone will come next year. The date is March 6, 2010 with Bishop Robert Carlson. We received a beautiful letter from Archbishop Vigneron congratulating us on our Twelfth Lenten Symposium. Barbara Middleton
